| We have three levels of training: | ||
Phase 1 |
Phase 2 |
Phase 3 |
Phase 1 will take you through the basics of the Sound Reinforcement system. You will learn some of the basic audio engineering theory and how to do a basic sound setup. The aim is to help you understand exactly what you will do and not to just teach you what plugs where. Lastly we will be introducing, briefly, the sound desk. |
Phase 2 is there to move you on to a deeper understanding of the sound desk. There will be an extensive section on mixing techniques and general church audio-engineer etiquette. We will also tackle some more involved subjects within audio engineering to broaden your knowledge. We will also be covering more advanced practical setup procedures. |
Phase 3 is mainly for those who wish to develop themselves further as a sound engineer. We will tackle advanced subjects such as EQ, Compression, Reverb etc. You will come to terms with words like, Outboard, side-chain, gates, ground loops and many more. |
